Description
Designing and operating a reliable ISP network requires more than simply providing internet connectivity. Modern service providers must integrate routing, traffic management, customer provisioning, management access, and internal services into a scalable and efficient core network architecture.
This course is designed to provide a practical, real-world approach to building an ISP core network using MikroTik RouterOS. Rather than focusing heavily on protocol theory, the course emphasizes hands-on implementation through a complete end-to-end ISP deployment scenario.
Students will build an ISP network from the ground up and gain practical experience configuring the technologies commonly found in service provider environments.

The course is entirely lab-based, providing extensive hands-on experience using a simulated ISP environment consisting of seven MikroTik routers running CHR images in GNS3. Students may also replicate the lab scenarios using physical MikroTik equipment if preferred.
By the end of the course, students will understand how the various technologies within an ISP network work together and will have the practical skills needed to design, deploy, and manage a functional MikroTik-based service provider network.
Whether the goal is to build a new ISP, expand an existing network, or gain practical service provider experience, this course provides a real-world framework for deploying a robust ISP core network using MikroTik RouterOS.
