Description

Modern networks rely heavily on switching technologies to deliver high-performance, scalable, and reliable connectivity. As MikroTik continues to expand its switching portfolio, particularly with the CRS3xx series, understanding how to properly configure and manage MikroTik switches has become an essential skill for network professionals.

This course is dedicated entirely to MikroTik switching and provides a comprehensive, hands-on approach to deploying, managing, and troubleshooting switched networks using MikroTik CRS3xx series switches. Students will learn how MikroTik switching works at both Layer 2 and Layer 3 while gaining practical experience through real-world lab scenarios.

Because switching features and hardware offloading capabilities cannot be fully replicated in virtual environments, the course utilizes real MikroTik CRS3xx hardware for all demonstrations and lab exercises. This provides practical experience that closely reflects real-world deployment scenarios.

The course is also designed to help students prepare for the MikroTik Certified Switching Engineer (MTCSWE) certification exam, one of the most technically demanding certifications in the MikroTik training program.

To maximize the learning experience, it is recommended to have access to at least two MikroTik CRS3xx series switches and one MikroTik router for completing the hands-on lab exercises.

By the end of the course, students will have the knowledge and practical experience needed to confidently deploy, manage, and troubleshoot MikroTik switching environments in enterprise, service provider, and campus networks.
